For such a cool city, London lacks hugely in funky, original venues that don't cost the earth.

This constantly makes us very sad at Florence Blue.

Which is why we were thrilled to discover that the Tooting Tram can now accommodate wedding receptions. For anyone wanting something a bit different why not give a thought.

Last week I went to meet with the lovely Penny from the London Rowing Club.

For anyone wanting a quirky venue with a knock-out view, this is the place to come. The space can be transformed into something fabulous with just a little imagination. Penny is an absolute breath of fresh air. Instead of pushing unoriginal wedding packages your way, she is keen to try new things and help in making your wedding ideas come to life.

With extremely reasonable prices, this place is a true gem.
