Backyard weddings
Is there anything better than a backyard wedding? You have free range to do exactly what you want, can use any suppliers that you like, no corkage charge, no time restrictions.....
But then some of us aren't blessed to have rents with acres of land hanging about outside their door... which is why, Goldenhayes is simply wonderful.
Situated in the centre of the oh so lovely New Forest, Hampshire, the owners of Goldenhayes have decided to offer out their vast back gardens for couples who are looking to do something a little bit different.
The land is yours to do what you wish. Just make sure that you clean up afterwards!

Baby shower
It's not all weddings here at Florence Blue....
I had great fun making a special baby shower for the lovely Hannah and John in Richmond recently. Everyone was asked to bake a cake and bring it along for afternoon tea.... by the end of the day there was enough for the entire street! Yum ;-)

Tea time
I love tea - which is one of the reasons I love this website.
However on a separate note I think it provides a great source of inspiration. Gorgeous, clever, colourful designs can get your brain ticking with wonderful ideas for your big day.
As a quirky alternative to bunting, why not pin a few of these to some rope and peg the towels along? Another suggestion would be to cheer up your loos by adding a few of these fabulous fabrics.
